Halada works at the “Turpai” section of Ayesha Abed Foundation (AAF), Ukhia, for the last six years, which has become a livelihood opportunity for her. But the journey of finding stability was not easy in its initial days.

Halada got married at a young age, and with a daughter, she used to live with her husband, believing in a future they would build together. But the dream was shattered when her husband chose to marry again. With no choice left but to make a difficult decision to leave her husband and return to her father’s house at Ukhia. Searching for a better life for herself and her daughter, she set out for Dubai, hoping for opportunities that would change her fate. But she went through more challenges. She struggled to find a stable job there, and after much hardship, she finally managed to return to Bangladesh.

After coming back, she found herself at a crucial point in life where she had to provide for her daughter to ensure a stable life with no money saved. She kept looking for work opportunities when she learned about the Ayesha Abed Foundation. She joined AAF at the “Turpai” section. Soon she proved her efficiency and started earning more from her work, which was enough to raise her child and run her small family. But the past left its burden. Her husband borrowed money from people during her married life, and she has to carry the weight of repaying those debts alone. With this financial struggle, she continued her hard work to pay off the loans while raising a child.

Six years have passed Halada stepped into the foundation and has woven a new life for her and her daughter. Though life had not been easy, through perseverance and determination, she managed to regain control of her life and continues to move forward with hope.
