Every bag you carry can carry a greater purpose. Aarong is excited to launch the “Bring Your Own Bag” campaign an inspiring new chapter in our sustainability journey that begins on September 1, 2025. This initiative encourages all our valued customers to make one simple but powerful change: choose reusable bags over paper bags. Together, let’s reduce paper waste.

At Aarong, we believe every small act counts and that includes saying goodbye to single-use paper bags. While they may seem harmless, the environmental cost is significant. It takes the life of a 15 to 20-year-old tree to produce just 700 paper bags. That’s why we’re taking a step forward and inviting you to join us.

From September 1, paper bags will no longer be given for free at our outlets. A small charge will apply to both paper and reusable bags to encourage the use of sustainable alternatives. Most importantly, 100% of proceeds from bag sales will fund tree planting across Bangladesh, helping to restore green cover and reduce carbon emissions.

To make your transition easier, we’re offering a special introductory period throughout August 2025:

• Paper bags will be available free of charge till August 31^st.
• Our stylish, reusable fabric bags will be available at 50% off
• You can also use your MyAarong Rewards points to purchase reusable bags
