TAAGA Outstanding Young Professionals Award 2023

The TAAGA Outstanding Young Professionals Award 2023 was an awards programme that recognised young female professionals of Bangladesh. This initiative was taken by TAAGA to foster growth and advancement of women and inspire the next generation of female professionals.

The awards programme recognised women under the age of 35 who have delivered outstanding performance and set performance benchmarks in their respective fields. The nominees were evaluated on their willingness to pursue new and untried options, their ability to learn and implement new methods, ideas and opportunities, and their drive for excellence. The jury members for the programme were Ms. Shwapna Bhowmick, Head of Region, Bangladesh and India at Marks & Spencer, Mr. Zaved Akhtar, CEO and Managing Director of Unilever Bangladesh Limited, and Ms. Moutushi Kabir, Senior Director, People, Culture and Communications at BRAC.

In its inaugural year, TAAGA had received an overwhelming response from 120 participating organisations and 324 nominations. After three stages of rigorous screening and evaluation, the jury had selected 3 winners and 6 finalists who truly exemplified excellence in their respective fields.

On February 11th 2023, the TAAGA Outstanding Young Professionals Award ceremony took place at Army Stadium during BRAC’s Hope Festival where the 3 winners and 6 finalists were recognised. These young professionals stood out for their exceptional work in their respective fields, and their dedication and passion for their work was truly inspiring.
