On July 24th, 2025, the TAAGA Outstanding Young Professionals Award 2024–25 ceremony took place at the BRAC Centre Auditorium in Dhaka. This year, we were proud to recognise and award three winners and six finalists—young Bangladeshi women who have made a remarkable impact in their respective fields and exemplify leadership, innovation, and integrity in their work.
The evening began with a heartfelt welcome and an inspiring speech by Tamara Hasan Abed, Managing Director of BRAC Enterprises, who reflected on TAAGA’s continued mission to empower women through creativity, ethical leadership, and sustainable action.
Selected from 309 nominations across 109 organisations, nine exceptional finalists were celebrated following a rigorous selection process overseen by a distinguished jury panel representing bKash, The Daily Star, Unilever Bangladesh Ltd., Bata Bangladesh, HSBC Bangladesh, LankaBangla Finance PLC, BRAC Enterprises, and Pathao.
The winners of this year’s award were Saima Teresa, Head of Product Design & Development at Standard Group; Aysha Rahman, Deputy Manager, Procurement at Marico Bangladesh Ltd.; and Ayesha Khatun Ananya, Senior Executive, Collection at Bata Shoe Company (Bangladesh) Ltd.
The TAAGA Outstanding Young Professionals Award, a flagship initiative by TAAGA, continues to foster a growing community of young changemakers under 35 who lead with purpose and inspire impact across industries.
